In March 1993 Pat Lynch, President, founded The Relocation Department, Inc. (TRD) to provide outsourced relocation management staffing to corporate human resources groups. Nick Casiello joined TRD in late 1994 as CEO and principal. TRD remains a privately held, female owned corporation today, passionate about customer care and seamless integration with our clients’ human resources organizations.

Our structure and business philosophy are unique to the industry. As “members” of our Clients’ human resources staffs, we become active participants in their recruiting and retaining initiatives through competitive policy design, implementation, and candidate counseling.
TRD is a human resources “single specialty” organization. Our specialty is corporate mobility management services. Our hiring philosophy and operational structure focuses on human resources professionalism. Through our people, we have achieved a level of communications expertise and historic employee satisfaction levels unprecedented in the relocation industry. Our Mobility Directors have over 22 years of mobility experience, hold the Certified Relocation Professional (CRP) and Global Mobility Specialist (GMS) certifications and regularly engage in continuing educational programs.
